Ingredients
2 lbs ground turkey, chicken, beef, or pork (or a combination)
1 medium to large onion, chopped
1 pepper of choice (red, green, orange, yellow), chopped
1 jalapeno pepper
2 cups fresh spinach
3 garlic cloves
3 C tomato sauce
30 oz black beans or legume of choice
1 T chili powder
1 T chili powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 T organic, raw sugar
1 tsp sea salt
1 tap black pepper
Small bunch fresh cilantro leaves
Directions
Step 1
In a large pot over medium heat, add ground meat and chopped onions and peppers.
Step 2
Cook until browned.
Step 3
Meanwhile, add jalapeno, garlic, spinach and cilantro to a mini chopper and chop well.
Step 4
Add to cooked meat and onions along with remaining ingredients.
Step 5
Add water if a thinner consistency is desired.
