• 12 ounces organic Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, ghee or olive oil
  • ½ yellow onion, minced
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-1 ½ cups shiitake mushrooms, chopped
  • pinch of sea salt and pepper to taste


Step 1

Wash Brussels sprouts and remove stems.

Step 2

. Shave sprouts with a food processor or slice thinly.

Step 3

Heat oil in large pan over medium heat. Add onion and let soften for 1-2 minutes.

Step 4

 Add garlic and cook until onions are translucent.

Step 5

Add Brussels sprouts and cook for about 2 minutes.

Step 6

Add mushrooms, sea salt and pepper. Cook until sprouts and mushrooms are soft.
